The BARDA Innovation Showcase highlights early-stage health security innovators and startups that have been supported by BARDA programs, including the BARDA Accelerator Network, Blue Knight, and CARBX.
The showcase brought together top early-stage health security companies, intergovernmental agencies, investors, and strategic partners. This year's 20 companies were sourced from the BARDA Accelerator Network, BARDA - JLabs Blue Knight program, and the CARBx programs and pitched their technologies to a curated group of relevant investors and strategic partners.
The participating companies and investors/industry partners also had the opportunity to request a one-on-one meeting with one another to discuss potential partnerships on the day of the event and for the following week.
The showcase concluded with an investor roundtable led by DRIVe Director Sandeep Patel, in which he led a discussion with partners from Global Health Investment Corporation and Arch Venture Partners around the topics of At-home Diagnostics, Host Directed Therapeutics, Next Generation Vaccine Platforms, Manufacturing Innovation, Emerging Technologies, among general investment trends in the life science market.
